Without an account

Results, preferences and lesson progress are stored only in your browser (local storage). Nothing about your typing is sent to our servers unless you sign in.

With an account

• Account: your name, email and (with Google sign-in) your Google account ID and profile picture.
• Activity: for each test, mock, lesson, exercise or game: timestamps, settings, speed, accuracy, mistake counts by category, mis-typed keys and words (capped), and periodic speed samples. We do not store your full typed text or raw keystroke logs.
• Purchases: Plus entitlement and payment records (amount, status, receipt) once payments are enabled.

Keystrokes

Typing input is read only inside the active practice box on our pages. We never record keystrokes elsewhere on the page or outside our site.

Analytics

We count product events (for example “test completed”) with coarse, non-personal properties. Analytics events contain no name, email, user ID, IP address or typed text.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags (such as Google Analytics). These Google services may set cookies and receive technical data like your IP address and browser details, under Google’s own privacy policy. The events we send to them are the same non-personal product events listed above — never your typed text, name or email.

Your controls

From Settings you can download all your data as JSON and permanently delete your account. Deleting removes your activity, goals, passages and sessions immediately; payment records required for accounting are kept without your name or email.
