Exam Mocks

Exam Typing Test Practice

Each mock follows the rules published in that exam’s official notification. We record the source, the section and the date we last checked it. Where the notification does not publish a rule, we say so instead of guessing.

This is an independent practice site, not affiliated with SSC, RRB, MPSEDC or any recruiting body. A practice result is not an official result. Stenography (dictation and transcription) and computer-proficiency tests are different skills and are not simulated as typing tests.

Rules verified

Core rules confirmed from the official notification — mocks show a practice pass/fail indicator.

Partly verified

Speed requirement confirmed, but some scoring rules are not published — mocks show speed and accuracy without a verdict.

Same speed, different scoring

Two exams can both ask for 35 WPM yet score very differently. CSIR JSA ignores mistakes up to 5% of words and disables backspace; CRPF HCM deducts 10 words per mistake beyond 5%; PSSSB needs 92% accuracy with half mistakes for spacing; MP CPCT counts only correct words per minute. Always practise the mock for your own exam. Read how typing speed is calculated and full and half mistakes.
